I live on a lovely old farm in County Down, Northern Ireland and am lucky enough to have my workshop just across the yard. I print my linocut designs of trees, gardens and wildlife in black ink on natural linen. I also make colourful linen collages which I sew by hand. My limited edition lithographs depict standing stones and fairy thorn trees, distant islands and little farm cottages. I have lots of greetings cards too.

My mum taught me sewing and embroidery when I was a child and I still use these skills today. My dad and I would go off on all sorts of adventures around the countryside where folklore and old traditions were simply part of every day life. I’ve always loved printmaking and have been making linocuts since I was in primary school.

I have a degree in Printmaking from the Ulster College of Art and Design in Belfast and a MFA from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.
